A beautiful Kyô’yaki 京焼 (Kyoto-ware) porcelain tazza by the artist Iwakuni Kikutoyo 岩国掬豊 (active Heisei period).
The large bowl raised on a slightly tapered pedestal foot, gracefully decorated on the interior with a close-up of pine trees branches 松 (matsu), the scene flowing over the rim and along the outer wall.
Painted in under- and overglaze enamels in deep blue, black, and green, delicately highlighted with gilding.
The recessed base inscribed with the two-character signature ‘Kikutoyo’ 掬豊.
Period: Japan – Heisei period (1989–2019)
