Lot 325 A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE PEDESTAL BOWL, KANGXI PERIOD,(1662–1722)

A Chinese blue and white porcelain pedestal bowl, the broad rounded bowl rising from a waisted stem and spreading foot, the scalloped rim decorated with a narrow diaper border. The exterior is finely painted in underglaze cobalt blue with abundant flowering plants and scrolling foliage, the interior similarly decorated with floral sprays and a central floral medallion. The stem and spreading foot are ornamented with further floral motifs and leaf patterns, the underside painted in blue with a flowering spray. Diam: 15 cm. Restored
