A fine pair of Chinese blue and white porcelain lobed bowls, each painted to the interior with a central scene of a lady playing with a child in a garden landscape, surrounded by alternating panels depicting elegantly dressed seated ladies, flowering branches and geometric diaper patterns. The scalloped rim is further decorated with floral and auspicious motifs. The exterior is painted in underglaze cobalt with stylised lingzhi fungus and cloud motifs, divided by vertical bands.
