Finely potted as a lobed foliate bowl raised on a short oval foot, the vessel is covered in a lustrous dark brownish-black glaze and delicately incised through the glaze to reveal the pale body beneath. The interior is divided into six petal-shaped panels enclosing floral sprays, centering on a medallion depicting a fish swimming amidst stylized waves and encircled by a dotted border.The exterior is left largely undecorated, while the unglazed foot reveals the buff-colored stoneware body. 14 by 11 by 5 cm.
