Of shallow, flaring form on a short foot, the buff earthenware body covered in a pale slip and transparent glaze. The interior is decorated in manganese and slip-painted pigments with a continuous band of stylized Kufic inscription reading bi’l-yumn (“with good fortune”), interspersed with abstract motifs and roundels, centered by a circular medallion.
