Elegantly potted as a shallow rectangular tray with rounded corners and a lobed rim, the interior finely incised through a lustrous black glaze with a dynamic dragon amid swirling cloud scrolls. The design, revealing the pale body beneath. A border of radiating flutes frames the central medallion. The underside is left largely unglazed, exposing the buff stoneware body. 19 by 14 cm.
