A finely carved green jade parrot from the Shang dynasty, rendered in a highly stylized form with elegant geometric contours and bold abstract motifs. The elongated silhouette and symbolic design reflect the artistic sophistication and spiritual symbolism of early Chinese jade craftsmanship. The stone exhibits a soft translucent tone with a smooth, lustrous surface developed over centuries. Height 17.5 cm.
