A small-format Arabic Quranic manuscript on paper, each page arranged in 15 lines of neat black Naskh script, with verses separated by small red roundels. Tajwid markings and diacritical signs are rendered in red ink, while the text is enclosed within a finely gilt rule outlined in black. Surah headings are written in red Thuluth script. The two opening pages are richly illuminated with gilt and polychrome decoration, framing five lines of calligraphy set within cloud-shaped reserves against a partially sprinkled gilt ground. Occasional marginal annotations mark khums, ʿushr and nafs, together with divisions of the Hizb. Housed in a deep brown leather binding. 8.5 by 13.5 cm
