A rare Roman glass head vessel, finely modelled in translucent amber-brown glass with pronounced horizontal and swirling striations. The stylised male face is rendered with prominent brows, eyes, nose and mouth, while the irregular surface preserves numerous bubbles and traces of mineral encrustation, consistent with prolonged burial. The vessel is hollow, with an open circular aperture to the underside. Height: 12 cm.
