Of squat, rounded form, the vessel is formed in translucent amber-brown glass, with a bulbous body rising to a short, waisted neck and broad, out-turned rim. A long, slender handle extends from the shoulder to the rim. The body is extensively decorated with irregular applied glass trails, creating a rippled, undulating surface, with numerous small air bubbles visible within the glass. The base is thick and dark, with a pronounced circular pontil mark. The surface displays extensive iridescence, weathering and areas of opaque encrustation, particularly around the lower body and foot.
