Of elegant baluster form, the globular body rising from a spreading, lotus-petal foot to a waisted neck terminating in a flared, petal-lobed mouth. The surface is richly ornamented with bold spiral gadrooning extending across the body, complemented by finely chased bands of lotus petals and beaded mouldings at the shoulder, neck, and foot. The original fire-gilt surface survives with an attractive mellow patina.
