A Nishapur slip-painted pottery bowl of shallow, flaring form on a low foot, the buff slip ground decorated in olive green, brown, and black pigments. The interior centers on a stylized quadruped rendered in bold, fluid brushwork, surrounded by dense scrolls, dots, and hatched motifs beneath a patterned rim band. The exterior remains largely plain. The lively surface decoration evokes the effect of lustreware.
