A refined Nishapur painted pottery bowl, elegantly shaped with a broad, shallow conical body and a neatly defined foot ring. The interior is animated by a harmonious radial composition of stylized, Kufic-inspired motifs, triangular forms, scrolling elements, and dotted textures, encircling a central medallion, rendered in earthy brown and olive tones against a creamy slip ground. The exterior remains largely plain, enhancing the contrast between its restrained form and richly decorated interior.
