A striking Spanish copper-lustre pottery bowl, of deep conical form rising from a short foot. The interior is decorated with a stylized simurgh-like bird surrounded by flowing floral motifs, while the exterior features bold circular and scrolling designs. The iridescent surface reflects the refined Hispano-Moresque ceramic tradition Diam. 29 cm.
