Surah headings are executed in white thuluth script outlined in black, set within cartouches against a polychrome floral illuminated ground. The opening bifolios (fols. 1b–2a) are fully illuminated, featuring six lines of black naskh script inscribed within cloud bands, reserved against a sprinkled gilt background.
The final four pages contain the Du‘a al-Khatm (prayer for the completion of the Qur’anic recitation), followed by poems arranged in columns and written in nastaliq script on a gilt and polychrome floral illuminated ground.
