An original Japanese woodblock print 木版画 (nishiki-e) by Toyohara Chikanobu 豊原周延 (Chikanobu Yôshû 楊洲周延, 1838–1912), depicting five Kabuki actors set against a vivid red background. Three of the actors represent a samurai from the Ichikawa clan 市川.

Mounted on a powder blue silk background and presented in a wooden frame fitted with an acrylic plate.
In a very good condition with some minor discolouration. Frame and acrylic plate with wear, and restoration of the reverse. Please refer to the photos for a clear condition reference.
