The teapot is modelled with a strap handle, and a straight spout decorated with flower sprays. The globular body is decorated with two ladies, one guiding a blind man amongst pavilions and willow trees, all below a trellis band with floral cartouches. The domed cover is decorated with peonies and is surmounted by a lotus bud finial.
