A pair of framed Delftware tile panels, each composed of six hand-painted tiles, depicting a large three-masted sailing ship navigating choppy seas, accompanied by smaller vessels and flying Dutch flags. Executed in underglaze blue, iron-red, ochre and manganese, with stylised waves and cloud-filled skies. The tiles retain characteristic craquelure and surface wear, mounted within later wooden frames.
