A finely decorated in famille rose enamels, the centre depicting an elegant Chinese lady in flowing robes standing upon a terrace beside a garden pavilion, surrounded by flowering peonies, chrysanthemums and ornamental rocks, with butterflies in flight. The scene enclosed within a richly ornamented border of scrolling flowers and foliage in vibrant blue, pink, green and yellow enamels, the reverse decorated with a pale green ground and scattered floral sprays. Diam: 27 cm.
