A rare creamy white jade human figure from the Lingjiatan culture, masterfully carved with a large expressive head, pierced earlobes, and folded arms resting against the chest. The figure wears a belt and a distinctive trapezoidal headdress with a central pointed crest, reflecting the ritual and ceremonial traditions of Neolithic China.

Mr. Huang acquired the jade pieces in Hong Kong. Some from Mr. Lai Loy (1926 - 2012), a jade dealer on Hollywood Road well known for handling and supplying archaic jade pieces to collectors, museums and other dealers and some some from private collectors in Hong Kong.
