Zhao Shao’ang (1905–1998) was a major master of the Lingnan School of Chinese painting. He produced paintings throughout most of the 20th century. Based on the style and typical album format like the one shown, such leporello albums of bird-and-flower paintings by Zhao Shao’ang were commonly created in the mid- to late 20th century, especially 1950s–1980s.
