These photographs briefly showing king Abdullah bin Hussein (the founder and ruler of the Jordanian realm from 11 April 1921 until his assassination on the 20th of July 1951) visiting Saudi Arabia and welcomed by King Abdul Al-Aziz during 1948 war. The king arrived with his entourage and one of them was Lieutenant-General Sir John Bagot Glubb, known as Glubb Pasha, a British soldier, scholar, and author, who led and trained Transjordan’s Arab Legion between 1939 and 1956 as the commanding general. 19.5 by 15 cm. 11 by 15.3 cm.
