A FRENCH MAHOGANY DINING ROOM SET, 19TH CENTURY

Mahogany Complete dining room, Louis XVI style, époque Napoléon III, Parisian work, composed by: 1- A large Buffet in two bodies, the bottom of the cabinet is rounded at the sides opening with two curved side doors surmounted by a belt drawer, and a pair of front doors adorned with a rich decoration in gilded and chiseled bronze. The top of the cabinet consists of a shelf and a beautiful oil painting on panel depicting elegant women and musicians on the shores of a lagoon signed by CH. MOZIN 1850. Charles Mozin (1806-1862) 2- A pair of fairly imposing sideboards with fluted feet on the front and a drawer that adorns the belt with a rich decoration of gilded and chiseled bronze in the Louis XVI style. 3- A round dining table with three extensions that can accommodate up to twelve people, resting on a richly carved base. 4- Ten flat back chairs with fluted legs on the front and upholstered with a beige Aubusson, and decorated with flowers and fruits bearing the monograms.
