A pair of Imari plates

Decorated in underglaze blue and heightened with enamel and gilt, to the centre a fenced terrace with a flower vase filled with peony and two butterflies, the sides and rim with three shaped panels decorated with prunus, bamboo and a ho-o bird.

Condition: very good.
