Black lacquered zushi-shrine

The inside gold lacquered with a green wooden mountain with a waterfall decorated with twelve small plain boxwood Buddhist and Shinto-figures. Bottom signed: made by the Buddha-caver Asako Shukei (the go-name of Atsuko Mikoshiten in Kyoto of a line of mikoshi-makers, active since the end of the Muromachi Period till 2007) and dated: Meiji 44 (1912).
