Seventeen leaves Quran in gold. Signed: Orman zadeh Mustafa bin Muhammad, who was a student of Muhammad Najeeb. A fine Ottoman Quran, by the scribe Ozman Zadeh Mustafa bin Muhammad, Arabic manuscript op paper, complete Quran on only 17 leaves with two fly-leaves with, opening 2 pages with elaborately gilt and decorated borders with 7 lines naskh script, headings in white thuluth against gold banners. The other pages with around 112 lines gold gubari script with 7 ornamental gilt roundels decorating the outer borders of each leaf, heightened in green, red and black. The text blocks ruled in black and gold spiralling pattern, with a further ruling in red on the outer edge. Contemporary limp calf covers, ruled in tooled gilt decorations with central gilt stamped medallions to covers, skillfully rebacked, edges a little scuffed. 22 by 15 cm.
