Tortoiseshell handbag with inlaid tughra. Tapered tortoiseshell pocket with wavy sides and rivets with riveted nickel silver fittings and hinges. On the side lid in ivory inlaid tughra of Sultan Mahmud I (reg. 1730-54) and two ornament cartridges. Fitting on the underside with engraved Arabic inscription. 21 by 14 by 6 cm.
