AN OTTOMAN METAL-THREAD EMBROIDERED KEY BAG, DATED 1305 AH/1887 AD

Rectangular in shape, two green velvet panels stitched together, each side is heavily decorated with a thread of gold-plated and silver-plated lush decorations surrounding inscription in thuluth script of Quran 27 surah Al-Naml v.30 and Quran 4 surah Al-Nisa v.58, made by the order of the Ottoman Sultan Abdul Hamid II and renewed by the order of Egyptian Tawfik Pasha in 1305 AH. 37 by 60 cm.
