The neck of the vase is decorated with Liu Hai holding coins teasing the Three-legged toad and the Hehe Erxian. The shoulder is decorated with prunus on a seeded ground with precious objects in cartouches above a ruyi band. The body is decorated with a continuous scene of generals on horses, Buddhist lions, and a standing dragon bearing pennants with the bagua (Eight Daoist Symbols), and the family name Zhou, with two people kneeling in front. The base with an apocryphal Jiajing six character mark. 79 cm. height, 17 cm. diam.
