Each dish is decorated with a central star-shaped panels enclosing two birds amongst poppies, surrounded by six large teardrop-shaped panels enclosing alternating ladies and precious objects, and six further smaller teardrop panels enclosing flowers, all encircled by a seeded band with prunus flowers at the rim. Each base with a lingzhi mark within a double circle in underglaze blue.
