He wears a scholars cap and robes above a suit of armour and is seated on a chair draped with a tiger's pelt. The base with two stamped maker's marks, one reading 'You Changzi zao' (Made by Yong Changzi) and the other 'Fujian Huiguan' (Fujian Club).
