Four Chinese blue and white 'Kraak porcelain' chargers and a bowl

The lot comprises a bowl decorated with a bird amongst flowers, the rim with beast heads and floral panels; two chargers decorated with scholars objects including a scroll the centre, the sides decorated with panels enclosing further precious objects; a charger decorated with a goose amongst flowers, the panels enclosing precious objects; and a charger decorated with a grasshopper perched on a rock amongst flowers, the border with precious objects.

The bowl: 6.2 cm. high x 21 cm. diam. The two scholar’s object chargers: 5 cm. high x 29 cm. diam. and 4.8 cm. high x 28.5 cm. diam. The goose and flowers charger: 5 cm. high x 28.2 cm. diam. The grasshopper charger: 4.7 cm. high x 29.5 cm. diam.
