A Chinese hexagonal imitation-marble and en grisaille-decorated hexagonal brush pot, bitong

Each rectangular face of the burh pot is decorated with a different landscape scene, with mountains, rivers, and pavilions, some with figures, all surrounded by an imitation marble border executed in grey and sepia enamels. The brush pot stands on six moulded ruyi-head feet.
