A group of Cantonese carved items

The group comprises: an ivory and a soft wood card case each carved in relief with figures amongst pavilions and trees, a large rectangular hinged box carved to the cover with figures amongst trees and pavilions and an uncarved oval cartouche, the sides are carved with shaped panels, similarly decorated; and an ivory brise fan also similarly carved.

The box: 21.5 cm long, 13.5 cm. wide, 6.8 cm. high The wood card case: 9.7 long, 6 cm. wide, 2.5 cm. deep The ivory card case: 8.3 cm. long, 4.7 cm wide, 1.2 cm. deep The brise fan: the guardsticks 19 cm. long
