A Chinese enamelled 'Meissen-style' teapot and cover

The teapot is decorated to each side with an iron-red cartouche monogrammed with the gilt letters, all below a winged cherub holding a floral garland on a cloud spray. The shoulder and foot are encircled with a blue-enamelled and gilt European-style band. The cover is similarly decorated and is surmounted by a gilt lotus-bud finial.
