A Yixing 'appliqué-decorated' teapot

The square-section teapot is decorated to each face with moulded appliqué prunus and rocks in a fenced garden below a ropetwist knot band by the neck. The cover with an impressed ruyi-head band and pendant foliage sprays, surmounted by a round finial.

Condition: a chip to the rim of the cover (approx. 3.5 cm.); chips to the applique decoration.
