A Zhangzhou Swatow dish

Reference: ART100664

The dish is decorated with iron red and green enamels with a central foliate design surrounded by a lotus scroll band. The exterior is decorated with a scrolling band of lotus flower heads below a geometric band.

Condition: two cracks to the rim (approx. 6 cm.); crackling to the glaze; wear to the enamels, particularly to the interior.
