A Chinese grisaille-decorated 'hundred birds' punch bowl

The bowl is finely decorated and gilt to the exterior with a multitude of pairs of birds in flight and at leisure next to a European-style building in a mountainous river landscape. The interior is decorated with gilt spearhead band to the rim. Wood stand. Provenance: Private Dutch collection
