A pair of Chinese coral-ground famille rose 'Tilling and Weaving' bowls

Each bowl is decorated with two panels enclosing scenes of figures working taken from the 'Gengzhi Tu' (the Illustrations of Agriculture and Sericulture), interspersed with two panels describing the scenes, all on a coral ground decorated with gilt cloud scrolls between spearhead borders. Each base is marked 'Gengdu shan fang' in gilt.
