A pair of Chinese cinnabar lacquer 'Luohan' table screens

Each screen is decorated with Luohan in a mountainous river landscape, each holding their respective attributes. The border is carved with flower scrolls. The reverse is lacquered black and inscribed with gilt with an apocryphal Qianlong date. The stands are decorated with further flower scrolls and angular scrolls.
