A Chinese blue and white 'klapmuts' bowl

The bowl is decorated with a continuous scene of ladies and boys, below a diaper band with cartouches enclosing beribonned precious objects. The interior is decorated with boys at play in a fenced garden surrounded by a further diaper band with cartouches. The base has an apocryphal Chenghua mark in underglaze blue.
