A Tibetan gilt bronze figure of an Amitayus

The figure is modelled with a serene expression and two pendulous earlobes, he wears a robe tied around his shoulders decorated with flowers at the hem, all before six snakes rising from behind him. His hands are held in front of him and his legs are crossed in padmasana on a double lotus base. His eyes and hair are decorated with coloured pigment. The baseplate is incised with a double vajra.
