The Goddess of Mercy is modelled with a smiling face with her hair under a high cowl. She wears long robes and is modelled her left hand resting on her knee while seated in Royal Ease on an elephant with its trunk coiled in front of her foot. The elephant is standing foursquare on a semicircular base decorated with moulded flowers.
