A Chinese white jade 'twin dragon' plaque

The plaque is carved in the openwork to both sides as two coiled dragons, one larger and one smaller, their serpentined bodies and bifurcated tails are coiled to form the elongated shape of the plaque. The stone is of an even white tone with a few tiny grey inclusions. Provenance: From the collection of mr. J.E. Vaandrager
