The vase is comprised of an upper removable section and the vase itself. The vase stands on a spreading foot decorated with two registers of gilt nodes, the body is decorated with an applied s-shaped spout emerging from the gaping jaws of a moulded makara, the body is decorated with the bajixiang (Eight Buddhist Emblems) amongst lotus scrolls below bands of flowers and peaches at the neck. The upper section is similarly decorated. The turquoise-glazed base bears a Qianlong mark. 21.2 cm.
