The thangka features Shakyamuni seated in dhyanasana before a flaming mandorla on a lotus base, with one hand holding an alms bowl and the other hand in bhumiparsamudra. He is surrounded by various further buddhas, bodhisattvas, including Taras and the Four Heavenly Kings.
