A matched pair of Chinese polychrome wood guardian figures

The figures are each impressively carved with a fierce expression, wearing a qilin helmet, openwork celestial scarves and armour decorated with a beast mask. The stand with one hand up and the other won, and their feet slightly spread and chest proud. They each are carved on a circular stand.
