A Chinese flambé-glazed 'hu' vase

The pear-shaped vase is decorated with moulded peach-shaped panels and a pair of applied tubular handles to neck. It is covered in a finely crackled thick strawberry-red glaze ranging streaked with sky blue and purple, thinning to beige on handles and edges. The base is covered with a mottled cafe-au-lait glaze and an incised apocryphal Qianlong mark.
