A Chinese painted pottery equestrian

The figure is modelled wearing long robes and a soldier's hat, the horse is modelled wearing a war blanket and a decorative bridle on its head. The details are delineated in pigment.

The result of Oxford Authentication Thermoluminescence test no. C109g35 is consistent with the dating of this lot. This lot is accompanied with a Certificate of Authenticity from the Brussels Art Laboratory, ref: MAC/Ardi/2009(106).
