The vase is finely decorated with two registers of narrative scenes, the neck is decorated with a lady and boys at play in a fenced garden, and the lower body is decorated with scholars and attendants amongst plantain on a river's edge adminiring the moon. The bulbous mouth is decorated with chrysanthemum and morning glory.
